Tamara VAZQUEZ SCHROEDER


NGT Task 2.7 Leader

Tamara Vazquez Schroeder is a member of the ATLAS Collaboration and leads the NGT Task 2.7. She did her PhD on top quark physics at the University of Goettingen, Germany. She worked as a post-doc with the University of McGill (Montreal) until 2018, she was a CERN Research Fellow from 2018 to 2020, and a CERN Research Junior Staff from 2020 to 2024. She has been a tenure-track researcher at IFAE (Barcelona) since 2024. She has led the exotics searches within the ATLAS Collaboration from 2022 to 2024 and is currently one of the conveners of the LHC Beyond-the-SM WG. She has worked with the ATLAS Trigger system since 2015 and is currently coordinating the Physics, Performance and Event Selection activities in the Trigger and Data Acquisition group towards HL-LHC.
