Stephen Nicholas SWATMAN
Scientific Software Developer
I am a scientific software developer with a specific interest in massively parallel programming and correctness. I enjoy finding sound abstractions for practical problems in high-energy physics and I believe that a mathematical perspective on software leads to long-term sustainability, maintainability and performance. I am also interested in the theoretical aspects of programming languages and compilers. In my day-to-day work, I work on bringing GPGPUs to the domain of track reconstruction, specifically in the context of the ATLAS experiment.
