Work Package 2 Co-Lead

I am a physicist working in the field of experimental High Energy Physics. I have contributed to the design, construction and operations of a number of particle detectors and their readout and trigger systems, among others to the design of the initial architecture and then to the construction of the ATLAS Experiment at the Large Hadron Collider.

In order to achieve these goals I have decided to add to my physics background an in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience on aspects of electronics like ASIC and FPGA design and more generally on large Trigger and readout Systems design.

I am currently interested to exploit the potential of machine learning on different hardware architectures aimed for the near and far future High Energy Physics experiments.
