Machine Learning Engineer

I’m Nadezhda (Nadia for short) and I’m a CERN doctoral student affiliated with Nikhef and Radboud University. I specialize in Data Science and Machine Learning, although my background includes many other Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence related topics, such as Reinforcement Learning, Natural Computing, Data Engineering, Computer Vision, Human-Robot Interaction and Information Retrieval.

My role in the NGT WP 2.2 is to develop ML algorithms that enhance the L0 muon trigger at ATLAS using the monitored drift tubes. I’m very passionate about all aspects of AI and ML, but I also love physics and astronomy, so the intersection of the two is the sweet spot I’d like to work in!
