Hi, I’m a research software engineer working in Task 1.7, where I focus on efficient scheduling in event-processing application frameworks, in particular taming asynchronous usage of compute accelerators.
Before joining NGT, I was part of the CERN EP R&D project, where I was exploring heterogeneous scheduling and investigating using the Julia programming language in high-energy physics computing. I also was contributing to core software libraries for future collider studies as part of the Key4hep project.
Earlier in my career, I was involved in nuclear spectroscopy and nuclear astrophysics research. I earned my PhD at the University of Warsaw, where I worked on the development of a novel time projection chamber for studying astrophysics relevant photonuclear reactions.
