Research Fellow

I’m a CERN research fellow working at the intersection of experimental High Energy physics and Machine Learning for applications at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). My work focuses on developing edge ML algorithms deployed on FPGAs for next-generation data acquisition methods as part of the Next Generation Trigger project.

Most recently, I have developed a representation learning-based method for anomaly detection in the search for Beyond Standard Model Physics. I also have a keen interest in MLOps infrastructure and Continual Learning for large-scale deployments, such as the triggering systems at the LHC.

Fields of interest:

  • Fast Machine Learning for data acquisition systems
  • Beyond Standard Model searches at the LHC
  • MLOps infrastructure and Continual Learning strategies
  • The theory of Deep Learning
