Jessy SOBREIRO
Computing Engineer
As a Computing Engineer with a background in both system administration and hardware engineering, I am driving the acceptance process for the NGT hardware platform: conducting tests and benchmarks, then analyzing the data to catch any weak points. I also serve as the primary liaison for any hardware issues or in-depth technical guidance on the platform.
I hold a Master’s degree in Computer Science, where I specialized in low-level programming, network architecture, and system administration. Driven by a passion for collaboration, I am an active contributor to open source projects, with a particular focus on integrated and embedded systems.
Beyond the datacenter, I’m a tinkerer: I maintain a home lab populated with servers to self-host my services, constantly experimenting with emerging technologies and orchestration tools.
Lately, I’m focused on advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), retrofitting a standard vehicle to enable features like lane-keeping assistance, adaptive cruise control, and more. This includes reverse-engineering of the built-in systems and designing the necessary electronic and software components.
