Jessica PRENDI

Doctoral Student

My name is Jessica and I’m a PhD student of ETH Zürich within the CERN Doctoral Programme. I currently work on Task 3.4, which focuses on optimal calibrations at the High-Level Trigger (HLT) of the CMS detector. I’m especially interested in the intersection of software and detector systems, and in how we can enhance sensitivity to new physics searches. I particularly enjoy learning about the data acquisition and real-time processing pipelines at CMS—and, of course, learning about the many intricate details of our (high-level) trigger system!
