ISOTDAQ 2025 is back for its 15th edition, offering a unique opportunity for students and early-career researchers in physics, engineering, and computing to dive into the world of data acquisition for physics experiments. From small-scale laboratory setups to the massive detectors at the LHC, the school provides a hands-on learning experience, bridging theory and practice in one immersive program.
With a perfect balance of theoretical lectures—open to the public—and hands-on laboratory sessions, participants will not only gain insights into trigger systems and data acquisition architectures but also apply what they learn through practical exercises guided by experts in the field. This interactive format ensures a deep understanding of the core technologies driving high-energy physics experiments.
Organized by CERN in collaboration with Vilnius University, the school is supported by several major research institutions and organizations, including ALICE, ATLAS, CMS, LHCb, Go Vilnius, and the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences.
With limited spots available, participation is subject to selection by a committee. The registration deadline has been extended to 14 February 2025. Don’t miss the chance to be part of this exciting experience and apply now!
