PhD Student

I am a PhD researcher at CERN, working within the IT department under the CE group, where I focus on floating-point arithmetic and numerical precision in high-performance computing. My research centers on improving the performance and accuracy of calculations in MG5_aMC@NLO, a key tool for particle physics simulations, with a strong emphasis on vector instructions and GPU acceleration.

I am enrolled at Sorbonne University and conduct my academic research at LIP6 (Laboratoire d’Informatique de Paris 6). I am co-supervised by Fabienne Jézéquel (LIP6) and Stefan Roiser (CERN) , whose expertise in numerical analysis and large-scale computing systems guides my work at the intersection of scientific computing and high-energy physics.

My background combines applied mathematics, computational fluid dynamics, numerical methods, and GPU programming. I am particularly interested in LBM (lattice-Boltzmann method), precision-aware algorithms, performance portability, and the stability of large-scale simulations. Through my research, I aim to contribute to more reliable and efficient computational tools for HL-LHC.
