Representative of the ALICE Experiment in NGT
I studied physics and mathematics, and am mostly interested in particle physics and astrophysics. During all my life, I was always interested in technology, computers and programming, and today I am combining these topics when developing algorithms for fast data processing for the ALICE Experiment. Currently, this means mostly the track reconstruction algorithm for the TPC (Time Projection Chamber, one of ALICE’s largest detectors) and the ALICE GPU framework for both online and offline processing.
Besides work, I like outdoor sports, particularly in the mountains, seeing my friends, and from time to time still video games, and when I find some free time I follow up some hobby computer projects.
